When I describe this cake, I think of the season of Autumn. The warm blend of spices along with Granny Smith apples and pecans are in incorporated in a delicious apple cake. Once the apple cake is taken out of the oven, we pour a hot buttermilk glaze over the warm cake and it just melts into the cake. Oh, my goodness, you might have to go on a hayride and pick apples after you have a slice of this cake! Pro tip- it is also good for breakfast!
